MycoKeys and Pensoft are heading to the 12th International Mycological Congress

04 July 2024

The Pensoft team is excited to attend the 12th International Mycological Congress held in Maastricht, the Netherlands, from the 11th to 15th of August 2024.

Organised by the International Mycological Association, together with the Dutch Mycological Society and the Westerdijk Fungal Biodiversity Institute, the four-day meeting will include keynote lectures by scientific leaders, bridging sessions, and workshops.

Registration for the event is open until the 6th of August, and onsite registration is available from the 7th of August.

As one of the supporters of the congress, the Mycokeys publisher Pensoft will be stationed at exhibition booth #6, where attendees can meet some of the team, including MycoKeys' Editor-in-Chief Thorsten Lumbsch and Pensoft's CEO and founder Prof. Dr. Lyubomir Penev. Pensoft will also present Best Talk awards at the event; winners will receive a free publication in MycoKeys.

A special gathering for MycoKeys editors will take place during the congress, but they will have to wait and see what that entails!
