Phylogram generated from Maximum Likelihood analysis of 72 specimens belonging to the genus Penicillium section Exilicaulis, using the combined ITS, TUB, CAM and RPB2 genes. Penicillium janthinellum CBS 340.48 and P. limosum CBS 339.97 were used as the outgroup. The numbers above branches show bootstrap percentages (left) and Bayesian Posterior Probabilities (right). Bootstrap values ≥ 75% and Bayesian Posterior Probabilities ≥ 0.95 are shown. The scale bar reflects the estimated number of nucleotide substitutions per site.
